Welcome to TenRentz Technology Corporation (“TenRentz,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using the TenRentz app, you (“User,” “Landlord,” or “Tenant”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the app. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the app.

1. About TenRentz

TenRentz is a Canada-wide platform that connects landlords and tenants. Our app enables landlords to search for tenants that meet their criteria and allows tenants to find suitable accommodations. TenRentz also facilitates the completion of lease agreements and manages monthly rent payments while the lease agreement is valid.

2. Legal Relationship

TenRentz acts solely as a connector between landlords and tenants. We are not a party to any lease agreements, nor do we act as an agent, broker, or representative for either landlords or tenants. By using the app, you acknowledge and agree that:

• TenRentz is not responsible for any disputes, damages, or liabilities that arise after the connection between a landlord and tenant is made.

• TenRentz does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of users on the platform.

• Users are solely responsible for conducting their due diligence before entering into lease agreements or any other arrangements.

3. Use of the App

Users must:

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into contracts.

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating a profile or completing a lease agreement.

• Use the app in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Lease Agreements

TenRentz provides a digital platform for landlords and tenants to complete lease agreements. However:

• The terms and conditions of the lease are determined solely by the landlord and tenant.

• TenRentz is not responsible for enforcing lease terms or mediating disputes.

5. Payment Processing

TenRentz facilitates monthly rent payments through the app. By using this feature:

• Tenants authorize the app to process payments on their behalf.

• Landlords agree to receive payments through the app.

• TenRentz is not liable for missed payments, delays, or any financial disputes between landlords and tenants.

6. Limitation of Liability

TenRentz is not responsible for:

• The actions or behavior of landlords or tenants after a connection is made through the app.

• The condition, legality, or suitability of any property listed on the platform.

• Any damages, losses, or disputes arising from lease agreements, payment issues, or other interactions between users.

7. Compliance with Canadian Laws

TenRentz operates across Canada and complies with the laws of Ontario and the provincial laws of each province where the app is used. Users are responsible for understanding and adhering to the specific rental and housing regulations applicable in their province or territory.

8. Termination of Use

TenRentz reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user’s account at any time for violations of these Terms and Conditions or misuse of the app.

9. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

TenRentz may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
